HAWAII - Nature's Song
Our Series Going Deeper Into Trees, Plants and Flowers
TESLA COILS -
Very brief overview; Prior to 1921 Russian Professor Leon Theremin was at the Tesla laboratory. When Theremin walked up to the large Tesla coils he noticed the frequency hum and changed pitches.
He later tried applying this technique to measuring the density of gases in his lab. 1928 Theremin patented the instrument (US1661058).
Many uses of the Theremin instrument have been used in famous songs. The Beach Boys song, Good vibrations used the Theremin especially near the end of the song!
Twelve years ago a musician from France demonstrated how he could connect MIDI wires from his computer into slices of a watermelon. Each slice was assigned a note of a synthesizer keyboard. Once the connections were made he began playing the slices of watermelon like a keyboard. The composer's name is MEZEG in France. He did one more video using roses and Theremin. Although very amusing and good for a few laughs he opened the door for research into the mystical world of Nature.
PRESENT DAY -
The question became; Instead of touching the tree, plants or flower to create a musical note, what if we could record the vibrations and energy from within Nature and record the energy.
For the past five years Kelly Dunn has been recording plants, trees and flowers on the Island of Hawaii. The electrical impulses are giving a series of musical notes based on low, mid and high frequency. The results have been astounding.
Currently, Kelly Dunn gives a short demonstration at the beginning of each tour whether it's at the Kona Cloud Forest ® - 808 Hawaii Tours or at community events hosted by the parent organization, the Painted Trees of Hawaii 509 (A)(2) Educational Nonprofit Foundation.
Kelly Dunn believes one day this technology will help farmers, gardeners and Nature enthusiasts to help everything on Earth to grow healthier.
Kelly Dunn sees a day when you'll be able to have a plant explain its needs; more water, less water, more or less nutrients.
The future is bright!
